Chairman & CEO – Chief Peter Tobore Akpofure
Peter Akpofure, a 1976 First Class graduate of Surveying, started his career as a design engineer with Edok Eter Mandilas who successfully constructed the irrigation scheme of the Chad Basin Development Authority. He later joined Shell P.D.C and rose to the position of Topographical Adviser after an international posting to Shell Expro in London. He managed Multinational Geosurveys ltd from 1996 -2003, and he is currently the CEO and Chairman of Epanoe Nigeria Limited. He is a UK Chattered and Nigeria Registered Surveyor and has over the years acquired vast experience in land and offshore surveying.
Peter Akpofure is an active member of the Nigerian Institution of Surveyors and he is in the National re-branding committee for the Institution. He has presented many papers on expending the role of the surveyor beyond the cadastral practice.
Managing Director – Mr. Al’hamid Alihu
Al’hamid Alihu, a graduate in surveying from the University of Lagos, started his surveying career as an offshore surveyor with Oceanic surveys in the UK, where he worked extensively in the North Sea. He became a specialized freelancer as Project Manager for major projects scattered all over the globe. In Nigeria, he managed the SAT3 project and the Cawthorne Channel cable lay project for Shell P.D.C. He is currently the Managing Director for Epanoe Nigeria Limited.
Al’hamid is a social crusader and has contributed immensely to the plight of abandoned children and motherless children.
Financial Director – Mrs. Amaka Akpofure
Amaka joined the Executive Team in year 2008 as the Finance Director. She started her career as an administrator in Singo International, an indigenous oil servicing company where she was responsible for the welfare of over 32 personnel assigned to Shell P.D.C. She later joined Shell P.D.C as a contract staff where she worked for some time before moving over to Diamond Bank. In Diamond Bank she served in the capacity of an administrator and rose to the position of Regional Admin Secretary. She consulted for Lady Ann Nigeria Limited as an administrator in a joint venture with SuperBod, a large government owned supermarket in Port Harcourt Nigeria before joining the Epanoe Team. Amaka now holds an MBA from the University of Liverpool UK, specializing in Finance and Management. She has brought her wealth of knowledge in revolutionizing the Finance Department of Epanoe Nigeria limited.
Administration Director – Mrs Tolani Alihu
Tolani Alihu, a graduate in Architectural Design, started as an Architect with Showcase Enterprises Interior Decorators, Lagos. She then joined a specialist team in the UK responsible for renovating and modernising sub-standard Private sector Housing, in line with the British Government ‘Fitness Standard’ Policy.
Influenced by African Art & Craft, she ran an Interior Design Service, developing a range of Soft furnishings, creating an awareness of the richness of Africa Craft.
Tolani is concerned with the plight of the less privileged, in society; She supports & works with charitys’ in Port Harcourt, and also runs an ‘eye care’ outreach.
Non Executive Director – Mr. Akpevwe Mudiaga Akpofure
Akpevwe Akpofure, a graduate of The Ohio State University with a B.A. in Economics and Political Science is currently based in the United States of America. Over the past decade Akpevwe has crafted a niche in Coalition driven messaging for political campaigns ranging from local to national candidates. Most notably, Akpevwe worked on Presidential Candidate Senator John McCain’s team in Ohio and last fall was instrumental in U.S. Senator Rob Portman’s campaign.
Mr. Akpevwe Akpofure is currently serving as a Board member for Africentric Personal Development Shop, Inc – non-profit counseling institution whose primary goal is to prevent, treat, and eliminate substance abuse and violence in Central Ohio, and Columbus Drop-Back-In Schools, that provide assistance to young adults as they work to obtain their High School diplomas.
Business Development Director – Mr. King Ovie Akpofure
King Ovie Akpofure completed his A levels in Repton, UK and studied Industrial Design at The Ohio State University, Columbus Ohio. He began his carrier in communications for CBCS (Credit Bureau Collection Services) collecting on past due services. He later was promoted to upper management and undertook his M.C.M (Masters in Communication and Marketing). CBCS relocated him to Michigan where he managed 55 employees collecting against healthcare portfolios from 2013 – 2014.
Mr. Ovie Akpofure relocated to Nigeria where he joined Epanoe January 2015 and is currently the Director of Business Development for Epanoe Nigeria Limited.
He is an active volunteer for the procurement of clean water in impoverished areas of Africa.
